Dip Into A Delish Green Goddess Dressing

Green Goddess dressing is a delicious retro recipe that is made from a host of fresh herbs like basil, parsley and chives that are then blended with zesty lemons and creamy sour cream and mayo. This recipe goes wonderfully as a dip with crudite or dressed on a green salad for a lush meal.  But be warned, this Green Goddess dressing is so good you might be tempted to just lick it up with a spoon!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ? cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 4 tbsp. chopped, fresh chives
  • 2 tbsp. chopped, fresh tarragon
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove peeled and roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper

Directions:

Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, basil, parsley, chives, tarragon and garlic, processing with a hand mixer until smooth and scraping down the sides as necessary. Season with salt and pepper.

Cook’s Note: The dressing will thicken as it chills. Simply add more lemon juice to thin it for a dressing or use as is for a dip!
